Funeral for Nannie Beavers, 70, of Hartselle was Wed., April 14, at 5 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Clyde Ledlow and Brian Bridges officiating.
Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Beavers died Fri., April 9, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born July 20, 1939, in Morgan County to Johnny Wesley Motes and Sidney Pearle Hammock Parker/Motes. She was a Christian loving mother and wife and a caring, loving pillar member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She was a precious, always present grandmother and a friend and confidant to all.
She is survived by her husband, L.D. Beavers of Hartselle; a son, Sidney Michael Beavers of Decatur; two daughters, Judy Harville and Betsy Stephenson, both of Hartselle; a brother, James Crow of Somerville; two sisters, Bunzie Blankenship and Linda Montgomery of Decatur; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lundy Beavers, T.J. Powell, Joshua Harville, Jimmy Hazel, Jason Puckett and Danny Ward.
