MUSCODA — Mrs. Elizabeth Chezik, 88, died unexpectedly Sunday (Sept. 1, 1968) at home of a heart attack. The former Elizabeth Grimm was born near Highland. She was married to Theodore Chezik in 1913 at Highland. Her husband died in 1961. She had lived in Muscoda for the past 16 years. She moved to Muscoda from Blue River, where she and her husband farmed.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was a former member of the Blue River American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Victor Jonas, Muscoda, and Mrs. Bernard Ferebee, Blue River; two sons, R. J. Chezik, Temple City, Ariz., and William, Blue River; two sisters, Mrs. Lilian Lange, Muscoda , and Mrs. William Palan, Highland; a brother, Clarence Grimm, Muscoda; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Godager Funeral Home, Muscoda, where a rosary will be recited at 8 tonight.
