Mrs. Henry R. Bick, 71, a resident of Keoku, Ia. for the past 20 years, died at 7 o'clock Thursday morning, Oct. 5, at her home, 1224 Fulton street. She had been ill only a short time following a stroke of paralysis. Carolina Wilhelima Heither, a daughter of Peter and Carrie Heither, was born at Canton, Mo., on May 16, 1873, and was married to Henry Richard Bick at the George Halbeck home north of St. Patrick, Mo., on Dec. 4, 1892. She was a member of the Christian church at Winchester, Mo., and of the Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors inclue her husband, Henry Richard Bick; a son, Roy G. Bick of Winchester, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs Lela Waples of Kahoka, Mo.; and Mrs. Myrle McDonnell of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; and three brothers, Oscar Heither of Omaha, Neb., Fred Heither of Pocatello, Idaho, and Bud Heither of Canton, besides other relatives. Her parents, three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services were conducted from the Christian church at Winchester Saturday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. James Shultz of the Winchester Methodist church officiating.
Pallbearers were Walter Bick, Ellis McCollister, Emery Banks, B. T. Vickers, Laurence Boltz, Clark Thompson. Music was by Vera Vickers, Mrs. J. Shultz, Glen Hunziker, Emmett Boltz, Vinita Vickers at the piano. Interment was in the Day cemetery, west of Winchester.
