He moved with his family to the:
Greensboro area at the age of two

His military service was with:
The United States Marine Corp
(served in Vietnam)

Fred was retired from the:
Greensboro Police Department
(after thirty years of service; also coached their Basketball Team for many years)

He was a member of the:
Triad Miata Club

He was the founder of:
"Miatas at Myrtle Beach"

He was the son of:
Fred Alley Sr
Edith Scarberry
Leo Scarberry (stepfather)

He was survived by:
Maureen Fickling Alley (his wife of forty years)
Angela Byrd (his daughter)
Andrew Alley (his son)
Becky Wrisley (his daughter)
Hayden and Gavyn Byrd (his grandchildren)
Thomas and Edith Wrisley (his grandchildren)
Priscilla D and Beau (his beloved dogs)
