24 NOV 2021, sighted; added gender. 1) Bio section as entered/written by the original creator of the memorial has been retained, and is below the divider. ~Carl TERRY, a retired car dealer, died Saturday night, May 23, 1992, at his home in Stilwell. He was 73 years old. TERRY was born January 18, 1919, in Washington County, Arkansas, to James Gifford TERRY and Mary ELLIOTT TERRY.

He was married to Emily STEWART in 1937 in Stilwell. She taught school in Adair County for 40 years. She died March 9, 1992.

Mr and Mrs. TERRY served a number of small churches in the Stilwell area most of their married life and were members of the Central Baptist Church in Stilwell. He had served in churches in the past as song leader and Mrs. TERRY as pianist. He had also served as Deacon.

Survivors include: one brother, Homer of Arkansas; and one sister, Mrs. Paul REES, of Illinois.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of this week in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry SWAFFORD officiating. Interment will be in the Stilwell City Cemetery.
