"The many friends here of Mr. Dolph Hamilton are sad to learn of his death which occurred in Denver, Col., the 5, inst [I think this is referencing 5 March 1913]. Dolph has spent several weeks here during the summer and made many friends. He was in the prime of life and leaves a young wife and little son, a devoted mother, one brother, Dr. J. E. Hamilton, of Denver, and one sister, Miss Ola, of Seattle, Washington, who are almost heart-broken that their loved one has passed away. Mr. Hamilton was a nephew of Capt. J. M, Prim, also other relatives here who are grieved to know that he is no more. The bereaved ones have the deepest sympathy of their friends here."
