Beverly June Kimble was born Apr. 4, 1935, in the town of Green Lake, Wis., the daughter of Merwin and Josephine (Lichtenberg) Kimble. She married Eugene Brey on Jul. 2, 1956, in Dubuque, Iowa. She heard the Savior's call in Holy Baptism at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wis.

They first lived in Ripon Wis., where she worked for Ripon Foods, then Eldorado, Wis. In 1968, the family moved to St. Cloud, Wis., where they raised their four sons. She then worked for Chilton Metal Products until she retired. During their retirement years, Beverly and Eugene became winter residents of Hudson, Fla. in 2000. Never having to shovel snow again was one of her cherished blessings. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel, Wis., and a visiting member of Grace Lutheran in Spring Hill, Fla.

Beverly was endowed by her Creator with gifts for making beautiful crocheted items. She made afghans for her sons, slippers for the grandchildren, kitchen accessories and many other memorable items. She loved flower gardening, especially with her granddaughter and enjoyed card games with family and friends. She always seemed to have a jigsaw puzzle going at either their Wisconsin or Florida home. The first morning routine for Beverly was fixing her hair even if she was spending the day at home. She always looked her best. Beverly was blessed with a large circle of friends in Wisconsin and Florida.

She leaves behind husband, Eugene; four sons, Mark (Dorothy), Gregg (Jodi) of Oshkosh, Martin (Sue) of Baraboo, Darren (Brenda) of Malone. Beverly was blessed with eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Vanessa, Elizabeth, Joshua, Kami, Kristi, Devin and Dana; two step-grandchildren, Desiree (Brian) Rahmlows and Taylor Podboy; and two great-step-grandchildren. She is also survived by two loving sisters, Harriet Hilke (Elmer) of Ripon, Wis. and Lois (Lyle) Quick of Fulton, Mo.; one loving brother, Kenneth (Karren) Kimble of Markesan, Wis.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was blessed with a large circle of friends in Wisconsin and Florida, and leaves behind special friends, Lorraine and her son, Roland Gosse, Diane (Jerry) Zacharius and Lenore Krueger. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Lily (Kermit) Brey, Elayne (Norman) Brey and Diane (William) Brey; and brothers-in-law, James (Leone) Brey and Glen Brey.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Shirley (Mike) Wetzel; and two brothers, Maurice (Lorraine) Kimble and Roger (Elaine) Kimble.

Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on May 18, at Grace Lutheran Church, Spring Hill, Fla. An additional memorial service will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.
