PEORIA HEIGHTS -- Perry "Leonard" Bealor, 71, of 910 E. Marietta died at 12:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 1998, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Born Aug. 13, 1927, in LaPorte, Ind., to Harold and Mary Kelly Bealor, he married Velma "Jody" Stamps on Feb. 15, 1964, in Peoria. She survives.
An Army and Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2602. He worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 27 years in East Peoria as a welder and retired in 1992 as a parts distributor. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 974. He was a member of Christian Assembly of God Church in Peoria.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wilton Mortuary, Peoria. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will one half-hour before services at the mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hawley Cemetery, Dunlap.
