Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) for Kenneth J. Cornell, who died Monday. Dwight Addleman will officiate.
Born Sept. 16, 1949, in Aberdeen, Wash., he moved to Cottage Grove in 1964 and lived here until entering the U.S. Air Force. After receiving his discharge in January of this year, he returned here and was employed at Orchard Auto Parts.
He is survived by his father, James Cornell of Cottage Grove; his mother, Doris LaChance of Eugene; four sisters, Joyce Sohm, Linda Ragsdale, Barbara and Debra LaChance, all of Eugene, and a grandmother, Lillian Winkleblack of Aberdeen, Wash.
The services will be at Smith-Lund Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Fir Grove Cemetery.
