Mr. Coffman was a shoemaker by trade. He owned a farm near Fairplay. He was a member of the German Baptist church.
His wife died about three years ago. Two children survive, as follows: Chalres Coffman, tenant on his father's farm; Miss Estelle Coffman, at home. He was a brother of Samuel Coffman of Bakersbille, M.F. Smith, of Hagerstown; and Frisby Smith, of Hancock, were half-brothers, and Mrs. Rohrer, Sharpsburg, is a half-sister.
Funeral on Thursday morning at 10"30 o'clock; interment at Sharpsburg.
