Served in World War 2 in the U.S.Army Air Force from 1941 to 1945.Served in French North Africa,Sicily.Flew twenty-eight combat missions over Germany.Then served with the Office of Strategic Services in Rome.Arno,the Balkans and southern France.Won one Silver Star and four bronze stars with European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with Nine Battle stars.In 1974 became the Police Commissioner of the village of Tuckahoe,Westchester County,N.Y.Served on the board of Police Commissioners for ten years.Upon his death in 1987. He was Honored by Westchester County N.Y Board of Legislators with a distinguished service medal and honored with a permanent resolution for his good service to his Country and County on September 28 1987.He was survived by his wife Elsie,and sons Vincent and Stephen.
