88, of Mount Zion died 11:58 p.m. Monday (June 8, 1998) in St. Mary's Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials: Central Christian Church.

Mr. Adams was born Feb. 2, 1910, in Macon County, the son of William A. and Vada Smith Adams. He was a member of Central Christian Church and worked for Marvel Schebler (Borg Warner) for 24 years.

He married Lena Irene Havener March 29, 1930. She preceded him in death on June 21, 1997.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers, two sisters, one son and one daughter.
