Mrs. Elizabeth Childress Smithson Williams, age 90 of Franklin, TN passed away February 6, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Williams was born in Williamson County, TN to the late Minnis and Martha Ann Marlin Childress. She worked at various industries in Franklin and was a homemaker. Preceded in death by husband, Fred B. Smithson; son Bobby Smithson; stepson, Fred B. Smithson Jr.; granddaughters, Jeanie Smithson Trice & Kristen Smithson. Survived by: husband, Jack Williams; sons, James (Sylvia) Smithson & Ricky Smithson; daughters, Shirley (Clifton) Warrick & Betty (J.T.) Langley; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Swanson, Tina Smithson, Kay LeFever and staff of Willowbrook Hospice. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Visitation will be 5-8PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME
Elizabeth died at her home in Callie with her family at bedside.
