Reed, who died Thursday at Putnam Memorial Hospital in Bennington after a long illness, will be held Saturday in Maple Hill Cemetery, Dorset, with the Rev. Hall C. Miller III, pastor of the United Church of Dorset and East Rupert, officiating.
Mrs. Reed, a daughter of Duane and Mary [Wilkins] Colvin, was born in Tinmouth, Dec. 1, 1898. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ceraldi of Scotia, N.Y., Mrs. Margaret Clark of Erin, N.Y., and Mrs. Ellen Flangan of New Canaan, Conn.; two brothers, Vollie Colvin of Tinmouth and Elmer Colvin of Danby.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions to the Vermont Cancer Society through the Brewster Funeral Service of Manchester Center have been suggested by the family.
