OBIT: The Aegis, (Bel Air, MD), 31 Mar 1922, pg. 3, col. 3: JOSIAH ALMONY. Mr. Josiah Almony, formerly of Harford, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. J. S. Dunlap in Baltimore. During his 93 years Mr. Almony was a staunch Democrat having voted for eighteen presidents. He leaves five children, Mrs. Mary A. McCall, Mrs. Henry Kisiner, Mrs. J. S. Dunlap, Mrs. Albert Hughes and Mr. J. Duncan Almony. Funeral services were held on Thursday at Wesley Chapel, Baltimore County. Revs. Hudson and Ledford officiating.
OBIT: Josiah Almony. Word has been received here of the death of Josiah Almony, in his ninety-third year, at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. J. S. Dunlap, 1728 East Lombard Street, Baltimore Md. He was a lifelong Democrat and voted for eighteen presidential candidates. Five children survive: Mrs. Mary S. McCall, of Baltimore; Mrs. Henry Kisner, New Park; Mrs. J.S. Dunlap, Baltimore; Mrs. Albert Hughes, Forest Hill, Md. and J. Duncan Almony, Monkton, Md. Burial was made at Wesley Chapel, Md. Revs. Hudson and Ledford were the officiating clergyman.

The funeral of Joseph Almoney, well known to the residents of this community who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sappington Dunlap, Baltimore, on Tuesday, was held at the Wesley Chapel, near Black Horse, Thursday. The deceased was aged about 92 years and is survived by one son, Duncan Almoney, near Jarrettsville; two daughters, Mrs. Sappington Dunlap, Baltimore, and Mrs. Henry Kisiner, near New Park, Mr. and Mrs. Duncan and son, Harvey and Mr. and Mrs. J. Nelson Wiley, this place, attended the funeral. 1922. (This is Josiah)
