This is a little write-up about life of Uncle Ray E. Schuette.

Uncle Ray was a very private person and a loner. He would show up at folks stay for a little while then he would be gone for several years.

I know he spent time working for the Royal American Shows, as a roustabout in Wisconsin State Fair.

He also worked as a painter in Florida during the winter.

He also was into collecting the larger size Matchbox vehicle. In fact when I was 15 or 16 I made up a catalog of all his vehicles which numbered about 3,000. He shows them down in Florida a hobby shows.

He called it RTCO (Ray's Transports Company) "The largest smallest transport company in the world".

Which reminds me my Father and Ray did some vehicles for the Pennsylvania state's attorney for a case when they where very young.

At some point when John and Ray also had a whip act they where known as Nevada and Arizona I do not remember which was which.

This information was provided by Ray's nephew John E. Schuette.
