Born in Coaldale, March 10, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Kathryn Kaplan Rarick.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former Purling Mills. She was a member of Primitive Methodist Church, Tamaqua.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; a daughter, Catherine M. Brobst; a sister, Mabel Sell.
Surviving are two sons, George C., RD3 Tamaqua, and Charles A., Hunlock Creek; two daughters, Mabel Folk, RD2 Tamaqua, and Ellie A. Epser, Summit Hill; two sisters, Anna Mae Massa, Allentown, and Dolores Eisenhower, Hazletown; two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Tamaqua. The Rev. Alvin Reese will officiate. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
