DEATH OF MRS. AUGUSTA ADAMS
Mrs. Augusta Adams, widow of Frederick Adams, died on Thursday, aged 70 years. She formerly lived with her son John of 259 Dana street, but recently lived with her daughter, Mrs. Anthony Esser of 29 Hill street.
Mrs. Adams was born in Germany in 1831 and had been a resident of this city since 1873. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and is survived by the following children: Mrs. Anthony Esser, John and Frederick Adams, and the following sisters: Mrs. Erdman Engle and Mrs. Fred Baker, all of whom reside in Wilkes-Barre.
The funeral will take place from the residence of Mrs. Anthony Esser, 29 Hill street, with services in St. Paul's German Lutheran Church on Sunday at 2:30 p. m. The remains will be taken to Hollenback Cemetery and interred in the family plot. Rev. Mr. Lindenstruth will officiate.
