Mass of Chirstian burial for John M Rychart, a heavy equipment operator, will be at 9 a.m., Monday in St Cecelia Catholic Church. He died Wednesday in a Portland hospital at the age of 62
Born in Devils Lake, N.D., he moved to Beaverton from Minnesota in 1962 with his wife the late Sophie Budzeak.
He was employed by Tualatin Valley Park District for four years before he retired ths year for health reasons. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and had served in the US Army 784th AAA AW Bn (Bloodhound) during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sopihie, buried in Grand Forks, ND, his parents Leo and Tracy (Hulst) Rychart. At the time of his death he was survived by two brothers, L.F. "Paul" Rychart of Manzanita/Hillsboro, OR and Raymond of Marble, Minn.; two sisters, Nellie Christensen of Fortuna,CA and Marie Pribula of East Grand Forks, MN. Many nieces and nephews in Oregon, Minnesota and California.
Memorial remembrances be contributions to the American Cancer Society.
