Adeline "Addie" Elliott was born Feb. 12, 1880, in Greasy, KY (Johnson County), to parents William J "Billy" Webb and Margaret Jane Honeycutt Webb. She was the fourth of nine children born to Billy and Jane. The family stayed and raised their children in Johnson County, and were part of a huge extended family known throughout Kentucky.

In 1899 Addie married David Elliot. They stayed in Kentucky until some time before the 1910 Census was taken; in 1910, they were settled in Washita County, Oklahoma. Addie's sister Zora Alice Webb Phelps and her family moved to Oklahoma around the same time as Addie and Dave. Around 1921-1922, Zora and Addie were joined by another sister, Laura Webb Phelps, and her family.

Addie and Dave raised three children on their family farm in Washita County, before relocating to Beckham County.

Addie was widowed in 1946 when Dave passed away in Elk City, Beckham County. In February 1958 Addie lost her youngest child and only son, Tommy D Elliott, in Elk City, and she passed away a short time later, on April 24, 1958.
