Sadly, Mr. Michael Lee Buehl, age 41, of Gautier, Ms., passed away in his home Tuesday, December 21, 1982. He was born March 17, 1941 in Keokuk, IA. and he was the eldest child of Raymond Kenneth Buehl and Myrtle Louise (Frame) Buehl.

Mike has been a resident of Jackson County since 1973. He severed in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962, after serving in the Army National Guard. Mike was a metallurgist and worked as an electrical technician at Ingalls Shipbuilding from 1973 until his death. He was a member of I.B.E.W. Local No. 733 in Pascagoula, MS. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier, MS.

He was preceded in death by his son; Steven Aaron Buehl, Gautier, MS. and is survived by Ms. Joan (Meyer) Buehl; three sons; Troy (Sarah) Buehl, U.S.S. Brisco, Colin (Elva) Buehl, Gautier, MS., Phillip Buehl, Ocean Springs, MS. two daughters; Miss Cheryl Buehl and Miss Leslie Buehl, both of Ocean Springs, MS.; his father; Raymond (Lena) Buehl, Davenport, IA., his mother; Myrtle Burgess; Quincy, IL.; brothers; Alvin L. Buehl, Quincy, IL., Robert E. (Janet) Buehl, Hamilton, IL., sister; Bonnie (James) Florie, Quincy, IL., half-sisters; Alberta (Burgess) Thompson, Fort Madison, IA., Linda (Burgess) Hall, Paris, MO.; father & mother in-law; Harold and Cecilia Meyer, Moss Point, MS., numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, December 27, at O'Bryant - O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, where Rosary will be read at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, 1982 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier, with Monsignor Eamon Mullen officiating. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
