Coyle Savage, 84, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 1997.
A native of Jackson County, Mr. Savage was a son of the late Robert and Maude Dina Park Savage and widower of Edna L. Dover Savage. He worked for Harmony Grove Mills and was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at Madison Street Baptist Church with the Rev. David Harbin officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Patterson, Covington; two sons, Doc Savage, Commerce, and Lanier Savage, Martinez; a brother, Kyle Savage, Commerce; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
