Carl was interested in "Radio" at an early age. He built a radio that he put in a 1 Lb. Coffee can when he was a Teenager. After High School, Carl went to Texarkana, Ark. to study Radio at a "RADIO" School. While in Texarkana, he married Laverna Russell on Aug. 25 1936. After graduating from Radio School they lived in Chanute for a few years and later moved to Wichita where they lived when Carl died.
Carl worked on Radio's and Television's most of his life. In his later years he worked as a Mechanist. They lived in the Wichita area for over 40 yrs.
