William David Terry was born on September 11, 1857, in the state of Mississippi and died on March 27, 1937, in St. Louis at the age of 79 years, 6 months, and 16 days. He was united in marriage to Louisa Davis in Jun 1886. To this union, 12 children were born, two having preceded him in death, leaving the widow and ten children; five sons and five daughters mourn his departure. They are as follows: William R, Clyde Raymond and Thomas Terry of St. Louis, Joseph Clark, Alex, Grace Richardson, Lola Adams, Edna Trask, Bernice Kroeger and Letha Bristow
