Elijah Tisdale Cutler was born in Connecticut in 1796, and settled at Wayne, AShtabula County, Ohio, where he died June 25, 1860. Mr. Cutler was a farmer, also engaged in manufacturing and milling. He married (1) Editha Jones of Hartford, Ohio, by whom he had two sons and one daughter. His second and third marriages were with the daughters of Charles Walworth, first (2) Olive in 1835 and second (3) Maria in 1840. Olive gave him two sons, Elijah Boardman and Charles Walworth, as well as a daughter, Olive. Maria, (pronounced Ma-rye-ah)had three children also, but only one lived to adulthood. Daniel Tisdale Cutler (my great-great grandfather), Ithamar, b. and d. in 1842, and Lucinda, b. in 1844 and died in 1858. (See Ancestry.com)
