Vincent Francis Anello
Vincent Francis Anello, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at a local health care facility.
He was born June 29, 1936 to Vincent and Catherine A. (Fisher) Anello in St. Joseph.
In his early years of marriage Vincent moved his family to Savannah, Missouri where he owned and operated the Standard Oil Station. In 1972, he and his family returned to St. Joseph. He was proud to have worked for Mead Products as a machinists, retiring after 30 years of dedication and service to the company. Vincent's passion was working with his hands, making parts for and fixing machinery, cooking, and watching and collecting old movies. He will be missed. A special thanks to all the staff at Arbor View Rehabilitation Center and Asera Care Hospice for their loving care.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
Survivors: three daughters, Frances Woolery (David) Lampe, Missouri, Sheila Puckett (Steve), and Stacey Hausman (Scott), both of St. Joseph, Missouri; one son, Vincent Tyler Anello (Kris), Beatrice, Nebraska; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Ann Buchler; and one aunt, Mary Frances Workman.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The Family will receive friends 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory where friends may call after 5:00 P.M., Thursday. The Family suggests memorial gifts to the Alzheimer's Association.
