Betty Lee Adams, 83, died Friday, July 8, 2011 at Living Communities.
Betty was born September 20, 1927 in St. Joseph to Frederick Alonzo and Eva Emmaline (Groshong) Morrison and remained a lifelong resident.
She married John P. Adams March 1954.
She was a member of Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Betty was an avid crafter and enjoyed making cookies for the kids at church. She enjoyed vacations with her family.
Betty was a Floor Supervisor for National Billis Hess and later retired as Director of Frederick Blvd. Daycare.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Dale and Rex Morrison; sister, Eula Keith; nieces, Marie Morrison and Sharon Moran; and nephews, Jeffrey Ashworth and Bobby Keith.
(Survivors:) her husband; son, John D. Adams (Donna), St. Joseph; daughter, April A. Heslinga (Chris), Smithville; two sisters, JoAnn
Ashworth, Savannah and Erma Moran, Michigan; three grandchildren, Amberly Heslinga, Adam Heslinga, and Charla May.
(Services:) 10:00 A.M. Monday, Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The Family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The Family suggests memorial gifts to Ascera Care Hospice. Mrs. Adams will be removed from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory to arrive at the church one hour prior to the service
