Mrs. Helen B. Adams, 85, a longtime resident of the Wolbach community died Friday evening in the St. Paul hospital following a hospitalization period of two weeks.

Helen Amelia B. Adams was born May 8, 1873 at Stamford, Connecticut, to Charles and Mary Burgess. She lived in Evanston, Illinois for some time. She moved to Nebraska in 1890. It was then she met and later on January 16, 1905 married Dr. Howard C. Adams. When they came to Wolbach, she became an active member in the Methodist Church. She not only supported the church with her presence and tithe, but she played the organ and piano for many years.
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Helen Truesdell of Evanston, Illinois, Miss Theodora Burgess of Geneva, Illinois; and two nephews, Charles M. of Aurora, Illinois, and Frank E. of Geneva, Illinois. She was preceded in death by Dr. Adams, who died in November of 1944; three brothers, one sister and her parents.
