Richard Ray Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Adams, was born October 4, 1931 near Palmer, Nebr., and died July 16, 1933 at the St. Francis hospital in Grand Island, following an operation.
Richard had been in the best of health until last Tuesday when he suddenly became sick. He was shortly placed under the doctor's care where upon he rallied and seemed to be on road to recovery by Thursday, but on Friday he began to grow worse and as a last resort he was taken to the hospital Sunday morning for an operation. Shortly after he passed away.
Besides his parents he leaves to mourn, two sisters, Elizabeth Ann, and Patricia, and one brother, Orville and many other relatives.
The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of their many relatives and friends. (Poem followed)
The funeral service was held at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Hiett, in Palmer, at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. S. T. Geiger, Pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Intement was made in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
