Jane Lacourrege Adorno entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Earl M. Adorno Sr. Loving mother of Earl M. Adorno Jr. (and late wife, Colleen), Brian E. Adorno (and wife, Marie) and Jeanne A. Africh (and husband, Wayne). Devoted grandmother of Lauren Africh Poche (and husband, Brian), Diana Africh Noonan, Christopher Africh, Erin Adorno Ross (and husband, Mike), Matthew Adorno, Therese Adorno Massa (and husband, Bobby), Bridgette, Brian Jr., Andrew and Hayley Adorno. Proud great-grandmother of Anna Poche. Sister of Gloria Lacourrege and John K. Lacourrege. Daughter of the late John A. and May Lacourrege. Mrs. Adorno was a retired employee with Lighting Inc. after many years of service and will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Aged 88 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 36 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, on Monday morning, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Lakelawn Park Cemetery.
