The sun rises in its magnificient glory and sheds its light, life and growth on all things around it and then sets, leaving behind darkness. So, it was with our friend and brother, Harold Fuller, who passed away May 18, 1967 at the age of 44. In the throes of our sorrow, may we reach out to his family and in some small way help them to know that they carry not alone their awesome burden.

As the sun leaves behind its power of growth, so did Harold leave us with rays of growth through example. The example of love that he bestowed on his wife and children, and had enough left over for his fellowmen. The example of courage, exemplified not only in defense of his country, but even more so in facing the problems of every day and the willingness to stand up and be counted. The example of dedication, demonstrated in everything he undertook, be it his home, his work, his Lodge or his Local. Nothing less than complete dedication and effort would suffice. The example of truth, for he knew no other way. I can think of no greater tribute but that we dedicate ourselves to the principles of Harold Fuller. Thanks be to God that he passed our way.
