Bertha Gladys Benefiel was Born 10 Jan 1903 in St. Francois, Wayne County, Missouri USA. The daughter of Hiram Benefiel and Rosa Lee White Benefiel. Her parents divorced and she was raised by her step father Harley Martin Davis, their marriage date is 15 May 1909. Shortly after her birth they moved to Pottawatomie County Oklahoma and she remained there until the late 1930's. She married Isaac Henry Clary on 3 Jan 1921 of which 13 children were born, 9 surviving. She, her husband and children relocated to California. Grandma passed away in Midland, Texas while visiting with her son, Don. She is buried next to grandpa at Artesia Cemetery.
