Timothy W. Gunn, age 52, of Clermont (formerly of Greenfield), passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2011. Born on Feb. 28, 1959 in Greenfield, he was the son of James C. and Dorothy M. (Cloncs) Gunn. He graduated from New Palestine High School in 1977 and attended Purdue University. Tim married Lori L. (Jarrett) Gunn on Dec. 11, 1999.

Tim was a lifelong farmer in Hancock County. He was a member of Hancock County 4-H and New Palestine United Methodist Church. He also attended Hancock Baptist Church.

Surviving him are his wife, Lori (Jarrett) Gunn of Clermont; step-son, Jerami R. Summers of McCordsville; brothers, Stephen J. Gunn of Greensburg and John M. Gunn of Greenfield; a grandson, Braydon R. Summers; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Denise L. Gunn, and his sister-in-law, Pam Gunn.

Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m.on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, at the mortuary. Pastor Mark Judy will officiate. Private burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
