On February 27, 2013, Antonio Adelfio of Chevy Chase, Md, with family at his side, from complications of Parkinson's disease. Beloved husband of 59 years to Margaret Farquhar Adelfio; loving father of Guido (MaryAnne Fiorita), Marco (Lydia), Giulia (Ed Sorensen), Maria Luisa (Erik H. Neil); dear brother of the late Giulio Adelfio; adored grandfather of 10. Also survived by step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Palermo, Italy, innovative entrepreneur, world traveler and founder of Bethesda Travel Center.

Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 3630 Quesada Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20015: Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of the Duffy Parish Center; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2nd at 12 noon in the church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the B-CC Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 84, Cabin John, MD 20818, to further international education and exchange.
