Ruth Dulin was the third child born to Alfred Thomas Dulin and his second wife, Emma Smith. Ruth married Richard Akroyd Ashcroft in June of 1913 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Richard son of Henry and Susan (Akroyd) Ashcroft. Ruth and Richard had 4 children - James Alfred Ashcroft lived to adulthood. Three of Ruth & Richards children died in infancy: George Allan, Ruth Margaret, and Richard Jr...all three are buried in West Newton Cemetery and share a headstone with their parents. Ruth outlived Richard by 23 years. After his death, Ruth married Mr Oyler.
