Death: Nov. 11, 2004

Fred was born in Dawson, Texas on February 23, 1909. He grew up on "Rabbit Ridge" and reminisced daily of his happy childhood memories there with his large family. He spent his early years farming and after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army he returned to Dawson. In later years he moved to Corsicana where he served on the Corsicana Police force.

He is survived by his most precious companion, Pepe;, his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Larry Covin, grandson Sean Covin & wife Christina, granddaughter Dawn Covin and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Effie Lena & John Thomas Adams, sisters Orbie Adams, Lillian Ritter & Elna McCulloch; brothers Pete, Clint, John, Rex, Dick & Rufus Adams.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of those who helped care for Buck the last few years.
