Kevin was a great friend to my partner and I.
He was born in west London and moved to Acton as a young boy and talked alot about his childhood playing in Gunnesbury Park with his brothers and sisters, he took us there and we had a tour of the beautiful old house and gardens.
I know Kevin briefly worked in a factory when he left school, he wasn,t impressed and worked hard and long hours to become an excellent Plumber, he had all the qualifications and certificates, he was very driven and very shrewd.
I know from conversations with him that he was a workaholic for many years until he started having a few health problems, thats when he got 'Beanie' 8 years ago, a black staffie dog.

His work life had slowed down and he spent time with Beanie , walking him in his local park twice a day ,this is where we met him 5 years ago when we got our dog Harry.
We all bacame friends and Kevin was A really nice friendly guy and we all got on, kev was always on hand to help with some gadget or other that we couldn,t get our heads around, he was really funny and had a great roaring laugh that was always nice to hear, he and my partner was always joking around would chat for hours especially about cars.
Kevin loved his cars , he liked BMW,s and would keep them
immaculately clean, every day he would be outside polishing
his motors, being really miffed when the birds would leave their deposits on his shiny paintwork!
Kevin had been a mod in the 1980,s and belonged to a scooter
club, he had just renovated a scooter and enjoying the thrill of having a bike again.
The Summer of 2013 was slow in coming, when it did we made
a concious effort to enjoy it, and we did , we sat out
on the green with our friends and the dogs just chatting and having a beer, the weather was beautiful and hot.

Thats what we will always remember about Kevin, his laughter, friendliness, a very easy going guy ,always smiling and
joking ,Loving Life..
Kevin leaves behind brothers George, Andrew & two sisters and Beanie , his dog.
