Birth: Nov. 16, 1880
Lee County
Texas, USA
Death: Jul. 19, 1930
Lee County
Texas, USA

Nora is not actually buried here, she was buried in the Old Guthrie Cemetery on County Road 320, her grave was lost, so the family placed this headstone in Lexington Cememtery. Info provided by Mr. Rudolph Ahrendt. Additional info: The marker in the Lexington Cemetery was provided by "Coon" & Nora's daughter, Emily Elizabeth (Emmie) MATHIS Seibert. She felt it was more convenient and therefore more likely that family would visit there than at the Old Guthrie Cemetery.

Nora married "Coon" on July 6, 1898 in Lee County, with Justice of the Peace John F. Belsher presiding. Coon died in June 1914, and following a few years being single, she married Arthur Matthys abt 1920. Nora & Arthur had just one child together, Douglas, who was born Sept 8, 1922.

On the 1930 U.S. Census for Lee County, TX, dated April 11, 1930, Nora's occupation was listed as "Chicken Farming". She passed away just three months later, on July 19, 1930.
