He grew up in Baltimore, Md son of Henry & Daisy Hecker. Brother to Harold W., & Raymond. He lived in Maryland until he was 74 at which time he moved to San Diego to be with his daughter, Cheryl. He loved San Diego so much, that he always said he was only leaving in a wooden box and that's how he left.
Dad was the funniest person I have ever known! To this day I can't find anyone with his keen sense of humor. His last words to me were "Cheryl, you worry too much!" And I still do! Love you Dad!
