Mr. Kelly Adams, 93, departed this life at White Oak Manor. He was the son of the late Rufus and Mamie Adams and stepson of the late Annie Lee Adams. Mr. Kelly was a faithful member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Adams; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Hopper, Mrs. Genell Adams, Mrs. Maggie Morgan and Mrs. Sadie McClain, all of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Coleman Adams of Connecticut and Roger Adams of Kings Mountain.
He is survived by his sister, Sue F. Adams; brother, Samuel Adams; and sister-in-law, Mildred Adams all of Kings Mountain; two adopted children, George Adams (Aundra) of Gastonia, and Mamie Adams of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation: The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service and at other times at the home of Samuel Adams, 131 Lake Montania Road, Kings Mountain.
