Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Forbes, 47, of Jefferson, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pope City Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Fowler officiating.
Burial will follow in Pope City Cemetery under the direction of Rains and Talley Funeral Home in Marshall.
Mrs. Forbes died Saturday at her residence after a sudden illness.
A native of Marshall, she was born June 23, 1933. The daughter of Thomas and Myrtle Miller Waugh, she was a former employee of Imperial Reading Corp. She was also a member of Pope City Baptist Church.
