Paul was married to 1. Susan Samans Long Braun who died in 1972. They had no biological sons together but Paul legally adopted Susan's two sons, Brian and Evan when they were young. 2nd he married Christine S. and had two sons: MIchael and Aaron. 14 years later they divorced. He never remarried and Christine Married Michael Brownridge, When Paul died he was cremated and his ashes were laid to rest on various places he liked. One of those places was in Park Forest IL where hew as born and raised. His father Mitchell had been post master general there h his working years. Paul was a fine artist as well as a retired police officer. Her served in the army in the 1960s as an MP at a Nike missle base in MO.
