Mr. Adams, who was 70, died March 28 at McKay-Dee Hospital following surgery. He was born in Sardis and retired in 1975 from the Southern Pacific Railroad after 27 years of service as an electrician. He served in the Air Force during World War II and was a Baptist. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Iris Sharp Adams of Ogden; four sons, David Adams, James R. Adams, Michael L. Adams and Richard Craig Adams; a daughter, Mrs. Theo Vanderwoude; two sisters, Mrs. Frankie Lee Young of Memphis and Mrs. Velma Jones of Lexington and 11 grandchildren.
