She was the wife of George William ATCHESON, who owned a shirt factory in Artillery Street, Londonderry. They had 14 children before she died and George then remarried circa 1906 to a Lizzie ATCHESON (nee McGARVEY) with whom he had other children.

George's Will:

"Atcheson George William of Woodbury Eglinton county Londonderry and of Fountainville Newcastle county Down retired commission agent died 30 September 1942 at latter place Probate Belfast 22 January to Thompson Buchanan Adams secretary Robert McElmunn Wilton company director and Lizzie Atcheson the widow. Effects £815 1s. 9d."


Remembered on the headstone is the son of Letitia and George:

John James ATCHESON (b circa 1890 and d. August 15th 1917 at Loos, France from wounds received during World War One and who is buried at Lens Canadian Cemetery, France. John James was attcahed to the 107th Canadian Pioneer Battalion.
