Mrs. Alleen Williams Gray, age 56, daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. G. A. Williams of Elkmont, died February 26, in Birmingham. Her remains were shipped here February 27 and funeral services were held at the Elkmont Church of Christ. Interment was in the New Garden Cemetery with Bro. A. J. Rollings, assisted by Bro. Alexander, the local pastor, officiating. McConnell was in charge of the burial.

Mrs. Gray's home was in Menden, Miss., but she was born and reared in Elkmont.

She is survived by her husband, Leon A. Gray Sr., three sons, Leon Gray Jr., U.S. Naval Reserve, PFC Kenneth H. Gray, U.S. Army, Wessie Scott Gray; one grandchild, Ford Gray; two sisters, Mrs. Robert B. Evans, Elkmont and Mrs. J. W. Tillman, Athens; two brothers, Dr. Robert Williams and Dr. Pryor Williams.

Serving as pallbearers were Ben Phillips, John Morris, Lewis Morris, Harry Morris, Harry Hanserd, Dr. C. V. Mayhall, Fred Gray Jr., and DeVon Thomas.
