Gregory Lynn Duty, "Sweet Daddy," 55, of Chesterfield, a beloved husband and father, died Monday, August 6, 2012. Greg was a U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Raymond Duty; and four siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene J. Duty; daughter, Lacy J. Duty and her fiance‚, Korey McKinley; sister, Susan Magee; nieces, nephews and family. Greg will truly be missed. A memorial service for Greg will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday August 12, 2012 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 55, Powhatan, Va. 23139.
