Glenda Kay (Sammons) Adams, age 66, formerly of Houston, Texas died May 25, 2007 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Palestine, Texas was under the direction of Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home. She was born February 1, 1941, in Palestine to Martin Z. and Ruby Payne Sammons. Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Palestine High School. She was a member at First Baptist Church in Palestine for many years before moving to Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Richard V. Adams Jr. Mrs. Adams is survived by a brother, M.Z. Sammons and wife Martha.
