Addison, 81, formerly of Norton, VA died
Sunday (Sept. 14, 1997) at Memorial
Hospital, Hollywood, FL. She was of the
Baptist faith. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Paul C. Addison; her
parents, James Carma Hammond and
Delpha G. Kilgore Hammond. Surviving
are two sons, Bill P. Addison, Midlothian,
VA and Ernest R. Addison, Tamarac, FL
and four grandchildren. Funeral services
were conducted, Friday, September 19,
1997 at the Oak Hill Funeral Home in
Kingsport, TN, with burial in the Powell
Valley Memorial Gardens, Big Stone
Gap, VA She was a descendant of Scott
County pioneer families of: Hammond,
Kilgore, Harris, Smith, Francisco,
Dougherty, Addington, Hamilton, Renfro,
and Philip and Nancy McConnell Dingus
