HOULTON and LITTLETON - Kathryn G. Anderson, 81, died April 7, 2005 at a local hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1923, at Lakeville, New Brunswick, the daughter of William and Hazel V. (Pryor) Gilland. Kay was a graduate of Houlton High School, Class of 1942, and the Aroostook General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1945. She was a member of the Aroostook General Hospital Alumni, the Fidelity Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekahs. She attended the Littleton Baptist Church. She loved spending summers at Grand Lake with all of her family.

Kay is survived by one son, Duane Anderson and his partner, Carolyn, of Littleton; two daughters, Janice Gustin and her husband, John, of Owls Head, Nancy Putnam and her husband, Philip, of Cary; a daughter-in-law, Ann Anderson; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Good and her husband, Arnold, of Monticello; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, W. Bernard Anderson in 1998; and her son, Joseph Anderson in 1994.

Interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery.
