Gloria M. Scott, 79, of Tampico, formerly of St. Charles, died Thursday, September 15, 2005, at Community General Hospital in Sterling. She was born April 5, 1926, in Chicago.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tampico, and the Sterling Moose Lodge.
She is survived by two sons, Ray of Palm Beach, FL, and James (Christine) of St. Charles; four daughters, Susan (Kerry) Hopper of Beaumont, TX; Mary (Kenneth) Wendland of Tampico; Ann (Frank) Cesarone of BAtavia, Amy (Stephen) Quartuccio of Batavia; nine grandchildren and a new grandchild arriving in December; and one brother, Raymond (Phyllis) Kobald of St. Charles
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; parents, Frank and Agnes Kobald. Visitation was held Monday, Sep 19, at Yurs Funeral Home, St. Charles.
A Mass of christian burial was celebrated Tuesday, Sep 20, at St. Patrick Crane Road Church, in St. Charles.
Burial was at Union Cemetery, St. Charles.
